Moxie Sozo ha creato questo packaging per la Fruta Del Diablo che indubbiamente si fa notare con una grafica che si ispira all’artista messicano Jose Guadalupe Posada.

La citazione dell’artista rende più autentica la salsa e può posizionarla come un elemento della tradizione messicana.

Industry Setting/Challelnge - For decades, The North Face has led the way to exploring the outdoors with high-tech gear built to withstand a trek through the Himalayas, but their hang tag and packaging system didn’t communicate what the company values and represents: technological leadership in the outdoor industry and efforts toward greater environmental sustainability in its business practices.

Strategy – The North Face engaged Chen Design to launch a global redesign of its product hang tag and packaging system that better expresses the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence and journey toward sustainability.

Unveiled in Spring 2008, all outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, such as tents and sleeping bags, will be re-branded with the new innovative system, in four different languages, which utilizes high percentages of post-consumer content and soy-based inks. Also featured is an annual audit highlighting the minimum annual savings using these greener methods.

Result – A smarter hangtag and packaging system that sells the product harder, saves shoppers time and protects the environment, while reinforcing the company’s mission to push the limits of leadership and innovation.

Alixir si rifà l’abito, sempre scuro, elegante ma con maggiore cura e contemporaneità di alcuni dettagli. A  sinistra il vecchio pack ( lanciato circa un anno fa) e a destra il redesign.
Le vendite probabilmente non sono andate come ci si augurava? In casa Barilla continuano ad insistere con il nero, un colore forse innaturale e insolito per questo tipo di prodotto?
Personalmente riteniamo che il packaging funzioni e ancora meglio adesso perchè decisamente migliorato nel lettering e nell’illustrazione vettoriale , decisamente più attuale.
Se le vendite non arrivano i problemi crediamo che siano altrove.

In recognition of the world coming together in Beijing for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, Coca-Cola invited global artists from graphic design and music, both established and up-and-coming, to depict what the occasion means to them.  The project, named WE8 to symbolize the eight musicians from the West (from New York-based Ultra Records) in collaboration with eight graphic artists from the East (China) coming together to interpret eight themes from the “Coke Side of Life” brand campaign and express that vision to the world. The result: eight, stylized, aluminum contour bottle designs, eight songs and a successful cultural and artistic exchange between artists from around the globe.
