Visualization of the 1st violin of the 2nd symphony, 4th movement by Ferdinand Ries in the shape of a rollercoaster. The camera starts by showing a close-up of the score, then focuses on the notes of the first violin turning the staves into the winding rail tracks of the rollercoaster. The notes and bars were exactly synchronised with the progression in the animation so that the typical movements of a rollercoaster ride match the dramatic composition of the music.

Thomas Noesner, our DoP, was in New York for a shoot of the new Mercedes R-Class. Right after the job, he took his camera and strolled through the busting streets of „The City“. While screening the pictures of a drummer in the tube station, I had the idea of creating a „remix“ of the recorded drum sequence to use it as a soundtrack for the film. That´s when our sounddesigner Toussaint came into play… We composed a track around the drum beat of this guy. Watch and listen to the beat of New York!

Swedish pop star Robyn has launched a 3D video, complete with Twitter integration, for her delightfully titled new track, Don’t Fucking Tell Me What To Do…

The video/website, which can be viewed at robyn.com/killingme, is written entirely in code, and feeds in content from fans via Twitter. The beginning of the video features words from the song, in which Robyn discusses the various vices that are killing her. These include drinking, smoking, shopping, her diet, her label, her landlord…and so on.
